Vegas extended the one-goal lead in the second period with Brayden McNabb scoring the only goal of the period, assisted by Eichel. After a five-goal first period, the second period had just that lone goal. Dallas answered in the third period with a goal from Mason Marchment, assisted by Miro Heiskanen and Jake Oettinger to narrow the gap, but it just couldn’t find the equalizing goal.
With Dallas at home, it must find a way to at least win one game that way it is not forced to head into enemy territory knowing that it may not come back. This game will be a huge turning point for one of these teams in this series.
