The Carolina Hurricanes continue their six-game road trip on Saturday night when they take on the St. Louis Blues. The Hurricanes will be playing the second game of the trip and are looking for a third straight win. They beat the New Jersey Devils 4-2 at home and then took down the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-1 on Friday night in their first game of the road trip. The Hurricanes gave up the first goal of the game to the Penguins, but Jackson Blake scored just a minute and four seconds later to tie the game. Martin Necas and Shayne Gostisbehere both scored power-play goals in the second period to give the Hurricanes a two-goal lead. Jack Roslovic would add an insurance goal at 11:00 of the third period. The win pushed the Hurricanes record to 2-1-0 on the season. Saturday will be the first time the Hurricanes have played on consecutive nights and they will be looking to make is a successful two days.

The Blues, though, are looking to protect their home ice and send the Hurricanes away with a loss.

They come into Saturday looking to win a second straight game after they shut out the New York Islanders 1-0 in overtime on Thursday.

The win snapped a two-game losing streak and improved their record to 3-2-0 on the season.

Saturday is the third game of a four-game homestand for the Blues and they are looking to get a win and clinch at least a .500 record during their time at home.

They will play the Winnipeg Jets at home on Tuesday before hitting the road for a four-game road trip starting against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
