The Oilers struggled to stop the Kings in the first two games, as they gave up six goals in each game. In the last three, though, they have given up eight combined goals and have scored 14. They needed overtime to win Game 4, but the other two wins have both been wins by three goals. Connor McDavid is leading the team with eight assists and 10 points. Leon Draisaitl also has 10 points thanks to three goals and seven assists. Evan Bouchard has the team-lead in goals with four and 10 different players have scored a goal for the Oilers in the first five games.

The Kings looked great in the first two games, but have struggled in the last three and are in danger of falling to the Oilers yet again. They have been eliminated from the playoffs in each of the last three years by the Oilers. They are trying to keep that from happening this season.

It is not going to be easy, though, as they will have to win in Edmonton and then back home on Saturday to move on.

The Kings have been led by Adrian Kempe, who has four goals and six assists in the series. He has the most goals on the team and Andrei Kuzmenko and Kevin Fiala are right behind him with three goals each.
