Division-leading Minnesota aims for season-best fifth straight win as road trip opens in Anaheim. Watch live on Fubo.

Off consecutive overtime victories, the Minnesota Wild have taken control of the Central Division as they have won four games in a row and are looking to extend their season-longest winning streak to five games as they open a three-game western road trip on Friday night inside the Honda Center as they take on the Anaheim Ducks. Minnesota won the first meeting of the year against the Ducks 5-2 in Anaheim back on November 8th extending their domination over Anaheim to three straight wins and are 16-1 in the last 17 games against the Ducks. After a season-best three-game winning streak in mid-November Anaheim has lost four of their last six games as they struggle to find consistency on offense.

Minnesota leads the National Hockey League allowing just 2.32 goals per game this season led by the goaltending tandem of Filip Gustavsson and Marc-Andre Fleury. A second-round pick by Pittsburgh in the 2016 NHL Draft, Gustavsson is in his third season with Minnesota and is having a career year having held each of his last 10 opponents to three goals or less including posting a pair of shutouts in that span.

Ducks winger Troy Terry is the only Anaheim skater with double-digit assists this season and has seven assists in his last five games.

Minnesota is 13-2 in Anaheim dating back to January of 2017 with eight consecutive wins over the Ducks on away ice. Anaheim has not beaten Minnesota at home since a 1-0 win in January of 2021.
