A night after their season-longest four-game winning streak was snapped in Anaheim, the Nashville Predators conclude their three-game Golden State road trip on Saturday night as they face off against the Los Angeles Kings inside crypto.com Arena in the third and final meeting of the season between the Western Confernce foes. The Kings have followed their five-game losing streak with a four-game winning streak as they position for a playoff spot while Nashville must virtually win out in order to qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs as they sit 14 points behind Calgary for the final Wild Card spot with 17 games to play.

Led by their goaltending tandem of Darcy Kuemper and David Rittich, the Kings rank fourth in the National Hockey League allowing just 2.59 goals per game and have held their opponents to three goals or less in four of their last five games. Kuemper, in his second stint with the Kings, has won 21 games this season marking his fourth 20-plus win campaign of his career and his 2.23 goals against average is his best sinc ethe 2019-20 season when he posted a 2.22 goals against average with the Arizona Coyotes.

Predators winger Filip Forsberg leads the team with 59 points this season having posted five points in his last five games. Forsberg is Nashville’s all-time goal scoring leader and has posted 20 or more goals nine times in the last 11 seasons.
