In final playoff push, the Rangers look to extend their winning streak as they head across the Hudson River to face off against the Devils

Riding a two-game winning streak the New York Rangers head into Saturday afternoon’s Metropolitan Division matchup with the New Jersey Devils on the outside looking in at the Stanley Cup Playoff bubble sitting two points behind Montreal with seven games remaining in the regular season. The Devils have won three of their last four games and are firmly in the playoffs with a six-point lead over the final Eastern Conference Wild card with six games left. This is the fourth and final meeting of the regular season between the division foes with New Jersey winning two of the first three games in this series with both wins coming by four or more goals.

Devils winger Jesper Bratt ranks 10th in the NHL with his team leading 86 points and has torched the Rangers for seven points in the first three meetings this season. Bratt, a sixth-round selection by the Devils in 2016, has six points in his last six games overall with a pair of multi-point games in that span. The 26-year-old Stockholm native has scored 20 or more goals in each of the last four seasons and is now just four assists away from 300 for his career.

With seven points in his last three games, Rangers winger Artemi Panarin leads the team in goals and assists and comes into this game one goal away from 300 in his 10-year career. Panarin had tallied 90 or more points in his last three seasons and is eight points away from eclipsing that mark again this season.

New York has won five of the last seven games in this series including two of the last three in Newark scoring five goals in both victories.
