They trailed heading into the last period, but Leon Draisaitl scored 57 seconds into the period to tie the game. Zach Hyman would break the tie at 16:58 of the third and Connor Brown would slam the door shut just over a minute later. The Oilers have now won five straight games and are looking to steal another road game on Thursday night. The series will shift to Edmonton for Game 3 on Saturday, but the Oilers want to first put the Golden Knights in a big hole with a win in Game 2. Corey Perry also scored for the Oilers in Game 1 and now has three goals in the playoffs.

The Golden Knights would also lose Game 3 in that series before rattling off three straight wins to move on.
