The Edmonton Oilers go for their third straight win on Wednesday night when they take on the Seattle Kraken.
The Edmonton Oilers visit the Seattle Kraken on Wednesday night in NHL preseason action. The Oilers come into Wednesday on a two-game winning streak and are 3-3 on the preseason. One of the two wins came on Saturday when they beat the Kraken at home 5-4. They went down 4-2 in that game, but scored the last three goals to get the win. Mattias Ekholm scored late in the second to cut the lead to one. Vasily Podkolzin scored a shorthanded goal in the third to tie it and then Raphael Lavoie scored at 17:07 in the third to win it. It was an exciting come-from-behind win for the Oilers and they will look to get another win over the Kraken on Wednesday night. The Oilers will play the Kraken and then will wrap up their preseason schedule with a road game at the Vancouver Canucks on Friday.

The Kraken, though, will be looking to avenge that loss as they try and snap a two-game losing streak.
The Kraken have struggled in the preseason so far, as they have just one win and four losses. They lost two in a row to start the preseason before beating the Vancouver Canucks 3-1.
The game on Wednesday is the Kraken’s last preseason game of the year. They will open up their regular season slate with a home game against the St. Louis Blues next Tuesday. They will then hit the road for three straight before coming back to Seattle for a five-game homestand.
