The Dallas Stars host the Edmonton Oilers on Friday night in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. The Stars erased a two-goal third period deficit to get the win in Game 1 on Wednesday night. The Stars trailed 3-1 heading into the third period, but scored three power play goals in the first six minutes of the period to take the lead. Tyler Seguin and Esa Lindell would add goals last in the third period to put the game away. Miro Heiskanen, Mikael Granlund and Matt Duchene scored the power play goals for the Stars to turn the game around. The Stars controlled the last period and will now be looking to take a two-game lead in the series against the Oilers. The Stars lost to the Oilers in last years Western Conference Finals and are trying to seek some revenge.

The Oilers looked primed to steal a win on the road, but faltered in the final period and are now needing to regroup for Game 2.

The Oilers came into the series with the Stars having won eight of nine games and had knocked off the Vegas Golden Knights in five games.

The Oilers got goals from Leon Draisaitl, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Evan Bouchard in Game 1 and Connor McDavid had two assists.

Draisaitl and McDavid are leading the team in the playoffs with 19 points. Draisaitl leads the team with six goals and McDavid has 16 assists to lead the team.
