The Montreal Canadiens host the Edmonton Oilers for this season series finale on Sunday night.

The Edmonton Oilers go for their third win in a row when they travel to take on the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday night. The Oilers have already have won four of their last five games and their only loss came in overtime. Edmonton is fourth in the Pacific Division, tied with the Kings with 36 points. It just so happens that they are tied with Canadiens, who also have 36 points, and they are also fourth in the Atlantic Division standings. Edmonton already leads this season series 1-0 against its Canadian rival, beating the Canadiens 6-5 back in October. Vasily Podkolzin got the go-ahead goal with just 1:09 left in the game. Montreal overcame a 3-1 Edmonton lead by scoring four goals in a row to go up 5-3 early in the third. But the Oilers were still able to overcome the two-goal deficit. These two are very close on paper, so expect another close game in the season series finale.
