The victory over Vegas was the Hurricanes’ lone win in its last three outings, with the win following a 6-4 defeat to the Colorado Avalanche last Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Senators are sitting in fifth place in the Atlantic Division with 17 points in 16 matches this season. The Canadian side is also sitting on an overall record of eight wins, seven losses and one overtime loss.

The team from Ottawa is coming off of a 5-4 overtime loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night.
