However, Jim Hiller’s team hasn’t played at home in over two weeks. They had a game postponed due to the LA fires, then went out on a five-game road trip. After going 2-3-0 on that trip, the Kings finally return home on Monday. In their first game back they’ll host the Pittsburgh Penguins (19-21-8) in an interconference matchup.

Pittsburgh already split the first two games of this road trip. The Penguins beat the Buffalo Sabres 5-2 on Friday, then in the second half of a back-to-back lost to the Washington Capitals 4-1 on Saturday. The Penguins are 7-11-5 on the road so far in this season.

Center Sidney Crosby is still getting things done for the Penguins. He has 49 points through 48 games, including a team high 37 assists. Crosby has eight points in nine games so far this month.
