Led by goaltender Jake Oettinger and the NHL’s top ranked penalty killing unit, the Stars rank third in the league allowing just 2.51 goals per game this season. Oettinger, a first-round selection by Dallas in the 2017 NHL Draft, has posted his fourth consecutive 30-win season while ranking in the top six in the league in wins, save percentage and goals against average. The 26-year-old Minnesota native has dominated the Penguins going 5-1-0 in six starts with a paltry 1.67 goals against average having never conceded more than two goals in any start against the Penguins.

In his 20^th season in the NHL, Penguins center Sidney Crosby has posted 50 or more assists in each of the last four seasons and is eight points away from his ninth 90-point campaign.

Dallas has dominated this series of late winning six of the last seven meetings including three in a row at home with two of the three wins coming by just one goal.
