The Red Wings would like to have their last game back against their Atlantic division rivals. Detroit held a 4-1 lead, before Buffalo completely took over the game. Lucas Raymond had three assists on Detroit’s final three goals to become the second star of the game. But then Buffalo scored four unanswered goals. Buffalo tied the game on a shorthanded goal in the third period, then Mattias Samuelsson won the game just 1:05 into overtime to give the Sabres the 2-0 season-series lead. Now the Red Wings will try to avoid going down 2-0 against the Rangers.
