After snapping losing skid, Wild look to bolster Wild Card standing as home stand wraps against the Sharks. Watch free on Fubo.

Clinging to a four-point lead for the final Wild Card spot in the National Hockey League’s Western Conference, the Minnesota Wild look for their first winning streak in two weeks as they welcome the San Jose Sharks into the Xcel Energy Center in search of the season sweep and seventh consecutive win in this series. The Sharks have lost six games in a row marking their fifth losing streak of five or more games this season and have not won a road game since beating Buffalo on March 4, a span of three consecutive losses on away ice. San Jose has won just two of their last seven trips to Minneapolis, including each of the last two.

With seven points in his last six games, Wild winger Matt Boldy leads the team with 67 points this season and has four points in the first two meetings against San Jose this season. Boldy, a first-round pick by Minnesota in the 2019 NHL Draft, has posted three-straight seasons with 60 or more points and is now three points away from breaking his career high of 69 points set last season.

Sharks rookie center Macklin Celebrini leads the team with 57 points this season having tallied four assists in his last three games. The number one overall pick in last year’s Draft, Celebrini scored three goals in his first three games as a pro but has slowed his scoring prowess posting just one goal in his last 13 outings.

The Wild rank 30th in the league on the penalty kill successfully fending off 72.7% of chances against the man advantage and have conceded three power play goals in their last 10 games.
