In four of those games, New Jersey either went to overtime or a shootout and lost in three of them. The Devils are coming off a game where they lost in regulation to the Philadelphia Flyers 3-1 on Saturday. Things started well for New Jersey when Dougie Hamilton scored just 2:17 into the first period. But the Devils were not able to score the rest of the way being limited to just 13 shots on the night.

Ottawa is coming off back-to-back games went past regulation. First the Senators lost to Washington 1-0 in overtime but they are coming off a 6-5 win in a shootout with Boston on Saturday. Tim Stutzle scored the game-winner in the shootout period to give Ottawa the win. Josh Norris led the way with two goals in a very different game than the one against the Capitals. Ottawa should have won producing 44 shots on goal against the Bruins. The Senators will need a similar performance to pull off this upset on the road today.
