Philadelphia rallied from being down 4-2 with Bobby Brink scoring the game-tying goal to send it to overtime. That is because Ottawa has nine more points than Philadelphia and the Senators have won four of their last five games and are going for their fourth win in a row. Ottawa’s last four games have all been decided on one goal so expect another one close today.

On Monday, the Senators are coming off a 2-1 win at home against the Detroit Red Wings. The win came off three overtime games in a row for Ottawa. The Senators won their last two games in overtime but lost against Washington in a shootout in the game before that. Goalie Linus Ullmark was just outstanding in the win against the Red Wings, stopping an incredible 48 shots to win the game’s first star easily. Ottawa only had 23 shots, and they still managed to win. David Perron and Dylan Cozens both scored for Ottawa on the power play. Now the Senators will have to play on back-to-back nights.

The Flyers have only scored one goal in their last three games. Philadelphia is coming off a 3-1 loss against the New Jersey Devils on Sunday at home. Cody Glass scored a goal in his first game with New Jersey after coming over from Pittsburgh. The Flyers couldn’t overcome Jake Allen who won the first star with 23 saves. Philadelphia got within a goal late in the third by Jamie Drysdale but it was too little, too late. The homestand doesn’t get much easier tonight.
