The San Jose Sharks road trip continues on Tuesday night with a trip to play the Carolina Hurricanes.
In Tuesday night NHL action the San Jose Sharks (10-15-5) continue their tour of the East Coast. The Sharks are on the back end of a six-game road trip that primarily has them in the Southeast United States. Their next game takes them to Raleigh for a matchup with the Carolina Hurricanes (17-9-1) at the Lenovo Center. With a win, the Sharks would be guaranteed to at least go .500 on the trip, with one more game at St. Louis on Thursday before they finally return home to the Bay Area.

The Sharks started this trip with back-to-back wins. They beat the Seattle Kraken 4-2 last Saturday with the action starting closer to home, then made the cross country flight and got the best of the Washington Capitals 2-1 in overtime on Tuesday. Following that they dropped both games of a Florida trip this weekend, losing to the Tampa Bay Lightning 8-1 and the Florida Panthers 3-1.
San Jose will face a Hurricanes team beginning a four-game homestand. The Hurricanes last played on Saturday, when they lost 4-3 to the New York Islanders. Their last win was the game before that on Thursday when they took down the Colorado Avalanche 5-3 at home.
Puck drop from Raleigh is set for 7:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday night. FanDuel Sports Network South will have the coverage of the game.
