Despite the two straight losses the Kings still sit in second place in the Pacific Division. They are nine points back of the first place Vegas Golden Knights and two points up on the Edmonton Oilers in the standings. They are fighting with the Oilers for second place and home-ice advantage for the first round. The Kings have a tough game to wrap up their homestand on Tuesday against the Winnipeg Jets, but first need to fend off the last place Sharks.
