The Dallas Stars go for their second straight win on Saturday night when they take on the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Dallas Stars begin a three-game road trip on Saturday night when they take on the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Stars avoided a second straight loss on Wednesday night when they took down the San Jose Sharks 5-2. The win was their fourth in the last five games and pushed their record to 12-6-0 on the season. They now sit in third place in the Central Division with 24 points. They are eight points back of the first-place Winnipeg Jets and five back of the Minnesota Wild. They are just two points up on the Colorado Avalanche and need to keep winning to stay ahead of them. The Stars will also visit the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday and the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday on their road trip before heading home for two straight in their own arena.
