The Toronto Maple Leafs look to snap their losing skid as their road trip wraps in Salt Lake City against the Utah Hockey Club on Monday.

Winners of seven of their last 11 games, the Utah Hockey Club continues to make its push towards the Stanley Cup Playoffs as they welcome the Toronto Maple Leafs into the Delta Center on Monday night. The Leafs make their first ever trip to the Beehive State. Utah trails Calgary by four points for the final Western Conference Wild Card spot, as the franchise looks to make the postseason in its inaugural season. Toronto is now four points behind Florida for the Atlantic Division lead after its current three-game losing streak that has seen the Maple Leafs be outscored 15-8 and lose back-to-back road games by three goals each.

Maple Leafs winger William Nylander ranks second in the National Hockey League with his team-leading 35 goals and comes into this game with at least a point in seven of his last eight games. Nylander, a first round selection by Toronto in the 2014 NHL Draft, has posted four consecutive 30-goal seasons and is six goals away from establishing a career-high after scoring 40 goals each over the last two seasons.

Leading Utah’s 11th ranked power play unit, winger Dyland Guenther has a team-high 10 goals with the man advantage alongside fellow winger Clayton Keller, who has 23 of his team-leading 49 assists on the power play. Utah is converting on 23.6% of its chances on the power play and has 10 power play goals in its last nine games.

Toronto won the first meeting this season 3-2 behind a pair of goals by Mitch Marner as part of a three goal second period for the Maple Leafs in their game in late November.
