The Flyers come into Sunday on a two-game losing streak with a 12-11-4 record on the season. Saturday they nearly took down the Boston Bruins, but they blew a two-goal third period lead and then lost in overtime.
The game before that they gave up seven goals in a loss at home to the Florida Panthers. That loss snapped a season-best three-game winning streak.
The Flyers now sit in a fifth place tie with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Metropolitan Division. They are just one point back of the New York Rangers, but are also just a point up on the New York Islanders in the standings.
