The Hockey Club beat Chicago convincingly in its first ever game winning at home 5-2. The road didn’t change the narrative much when Utah beat the New York Islanders 5-4 in overtime on Thursday. Dylan Guenther was a big stand out for Utah in the win scoring two goals. But it was Josh Doan who tied the game with just 1:54 left in regulation. No goal was bigger though when Guenther scored his second goal of the game in the extra period to win the game.

Igor Shesterkin was phenomenal in net stopping all 31 shots he faced to earn the second star of the game. New York outshot Pittsburgh 40-31 and Chris Kreider was a big standout in the offensive onslaught scoring two goals. With two conference finals appearances in the last three seasons, this team feels primed to break through this year.
