Flames continue their playoff push as Pacific Division leading Golden Knights skate into Calgary. Watch for free on Fubo.

Entering the weekend on the outside of the Western Conference playoff bubble, the Calgary Flames wrap up their two-game home stand on Saturday night as they welcome the Vegas Golden Knights into the Scotiabank Saddledome for the first of two meetings between the Pacific Division foes in the next 11 days. Calgary is five points behind Minnesota for the final Wild Card spot with two games in hand and control their own playoff destiny as they round out the regular season with all seven remaining games against Western Conference opponents. Vegas has already clinched a playoff spot and leads the Pacific Division by just three points as they look to avoid their first three-game losing streak since the start of February.

Golden Knights center Jack Eichel is having a career year ranking fourth in the NHL in assists and points this season and is on the threshold of his first ever 100-point season. Eichel, the number two overall selection in the 2015 NHL Draft, has flourished since joining Vegas in 2021 helping bring a Stanley Cup title to the desert in 2023 and this season has posted career and franchise record highs with 66 assists and 93 points. The 28-year-old Massachusetts native had an electric March posting 23 points in 14 games with seven multi-point efforts in that span.

With a team leading 31 goals this season, Flames center Nazem Kadri has eclipsed a couple of career milestones having scored his 300th career goal and tallied his 700th career point and with one more assist will move above 400 for his 16-year career. Kadri has eight goals in his last nine games and is two goals away from surpassing his career best of 32 goals set during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 campaigns with Toronto.

The series is tied 6-6 dating back to February of 2022 with Calgary holding a 4-2 advantage at home in that span. Three of the last four meetings in Alberta have been decided by one goal.
