The Seattle Kraken and Minnesota Wild go for back-to-back wins when they face off on Tuesday.

The Seattle Kraken look to take a 2-0 season series lead when they host the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night. Seattle is the -120 favorite even though the Wild have an 18-point advantage in the standings. Seattle won 5-4 in a great shootout game back in October when these two first met this season. Jordan Eberle was the MVP by a mile by scoring two goals in regulation and he scored the game-winner in the shootout. The Wild are trying to maintain their advantage over the Colorado Avalanche in the Central standings, holding down the third spot with a two-point advantage over the Avs. The Wild could easily be the favorites in this one.

Minnesota is coming off a close 1-0 win at home against the Boston Bruins on Sunday. It ended a three-game losing streak for the Wild. Filip Gustavsson was the first star of the game stopping 28 shots.  Frederick Gaudreau scored the only goal of the game in the second period. The Wild still are dealing with a lot of injuries, including Kirill Kaprizov, so it will remain to be seen if this offense continues to struggle.

Seattle didn’t have any problem with its offense in its last game beating its regional rival the Vancouver Canucks 6-3 on Saturday. The win helped the Kraken avoid losing three in a row. Vancouver was up 3-2 but then Seattle went on a tear scoring four unanswered goals to end the game. Eeli Tolvanen scored two goals, including what turned out to be the go-ahead goal near the end of the second period. Vince Dunn had two assists to reach the 200 mark for his career. With the way the Wild’s offense is going and the Kraken are at home, this is anyone’s game.
