Central Division leading Winnipeg looks to extend their winning streak as the Jets fly into Beantown in search of their first win in Boston.

On a four-game winning streak and with seven wins in their last nine games, the Winnipeg Jets continue their road trip on Thursday night in the second of two meetings this season against the Boston Bruins as the Central Division leaders aim for their first victory inside TD Garden in over six years. After a dreadful six-game losing streak to begin January, Boston has won five of their last eight games including four in a row on home ice as they try to keep pace in a loaded Atlantic Division and avenge an 8-1 thrashing at the hands of Winnipeg back in mid-December.

Centers Gabriel Vilardi and Mark Scheifele alongside winger Kyle Connor have combined for 28 goals and 37 assists on the power play this season with both Vilardi and Scheifele scoring in a 5-2 home win over Calgary on Sunday.

Bruins winger David Pastrnak leads the club with 24 goals and 36 assists and comes into this game on an eight-game points streak. The veteran has six multi-point games during this streak and sits 13 points shy of 800 for his 11-year career.

Boston has controlled this series of late winning seven of the last nine overall and each of the last four at home. Winnipeg’s last win in Boston game in a shootout in late January of 2019.
