The finals of the Mission Drag Racing Series at Virginia Nationals should scorch the drag way on Sunday afternoon.
Coming into the weekend, nine of 20 events of the season have been completed in the NHRA Drag Racing season. This weekend, the competitors are in Virginia at American Rebel Light. The final day of racing on Sunsay will see Nitro (Top Fuel & Funny Car), Pro Stock (Car & Motorcycle), Summit JDRL National Shootout, Sportsman (TD, Comp, TS, TAFC, & TAD) and Factory X. The racing conditions on Saturday were favorable, as the temperature climbed to the 90s and the road stayed dry. Sunday should be more of the same with a high of 95 with clear skies as far as the eye can see.
