The Ohio State Buckeyes hit the road on Saturday to take on the Indiana Hoosiers in their last regular season game. The Buckeyes come into Saturday on a two-game winning streak and it has pushed their record to 17-13 overall and 9-10 in the Big Ten. They had lost five of seven but have gotten back-to-back big wins at USC and at home in double overtime against Nebraska. They are firmly on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament and they need to get a win on Saturday and most likely win a game or two in the Big Ten Tournament. This will be the second meeting between the two teams as they met in Columbus back on Jan. 17 with Indiana coming away with a 77-76 overtime win. John Mobley Jr. scored 22 in that game, but it wasn’t enough to get them the win. Mobley Jr. is third on the team in scoring at 13.4 points per game. Bruce Thornton is the team’s top scorer at 17.8 points per game, while Devin Royal is the team’s top rebounder at 7.0 per game.

The Hoosiers come into Saturday needing a win as much as the Buckeyes do as they also fight for their tournament life. The Hoosiers saw their three-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday when they went to Oregon and lost 73-64.

They had won at Washington on Saturday, but couldn’t get a second straight win and it dropped them to 18-12 overall and 9-10 in the Big Ten.

The Hoosiers have been led by Oumar Ballo who is scoring 13.3 points per game and grabbing 9.2 rebounds per game. Both are team highs.
