Tre Johnson and Texas meet Jalon Moore and Oklahoma in a conference clash that will end the regular season on Saturday night.

Oklahoma will travel to Austin, Texas, in the season finalé for these two teams in a men’s college basketball Southeastern Conference clash. On Saturday night, it will face the University of Texas at the Moody Center. Both of these teams sit on the bubble for an at-large NCAA Tournament bid. Oklahoma more so than Texas, but OU took down No. 15 Missouri earlier this week to likely solidify themselves as a March Madness team. Texas is also a “First Four Out” team according to Joe Lunardi’s bracketology and will need a big win here to fall into the same place.

The Sooners are 18-12 overall this season, heading into the weekend with a 5-12 record against teams in the conference. For a bubble team, they are the third-to-last team in the SEC, sitting 10 games behind the conference leader. The win over Missouri and Ole Miss will certainly help their case as Jalon Moore is hitting his stride, averaging 16.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.

The Longhorns are 17-13 overall this season and are the spot ahead of OU in the conference standings with a 6-11 record against the SEC, a game ahead. They are a game behind Georgia and Arkansas and three games ahead of LSU and four over South Carolina, the bottom of the conference.

After opening March last weekend with a loss at home to Georgia and falling, they took down former No. 25 Mississippi State in overtime by five points earlier this week. Tre Johnson will matchup with Moore as the stellar freshman is averaging 20.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game, running through teams.
