No. 14-seeded Oklahoma will take on the No. 11-seeded Georgia at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville in the first round of the SEC Tournament on Wednesday night. The Georgia Bulldogs finished the season with a 20-11 record, just one game overall better than their opponent. They also finished 8-10 in the conference, which is two games higher than their opponent. They closed out their season with three straight wins over Texas on the road, South Carolina on the road, and Vanderbilt at home.

Asa Newell led the team and the frontcourt this season, averaging 15.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game. The backcourt was led by Silas Demary Jr., who is averaging 13.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. They are the only two players on the team averaging over double digits this season.

The Oklahoma Sooners finished 19-12 overall this season with a 6-12 record against conference teams in the SEC. They ended tied with Texas and three games over LSU. After losing to Ole Miss to open up March, they took down former No. 15 Missouri and closed out the season in the finalé with a four-point win on the road at Texas.

Similar to Georgia, Oklahoma has just two players averaging over double digits. Jeremiah Fears leads the team and will match up with Demary Jr. He is averaging 16.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game. Jalon Moore will match up with Newell, averaging 16.2 points and 5.8 rebounds, shooting 48 percent from the field.
