They closed out February with a rather unusual loss to Georgia after winning six games in a row, including a conference win over the top-ranked team in the country, Auburn. They also opened March last weekend with an 89-70 win against No. 12 Texas A&M. Walter Clayton Jr leads the team in scoring this season, averaging 16.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game.

The Ole Miss Rebels finish their season with one of the best in the country. The once-AP Top 25 ranked team ended last month with three straight losses against Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, and Auburn. They bounced back, opening March last weekend with a win against Oklahoma at home by three points, led by Sean Pedulla.

However, after a game against No. 4 Tennessee earlier in the week, back-to-back top-five games are tough. This bubble team is in need of a big win to end out the regular season with conference tournaments also on the horizon. Pedule and Matthew Murrell lead a great backcourt, averaging a combined 26.2 points per game.
