Gonzaga will travel to Stockton, California, this weekend in a men’s college basketball battle between two West Coast Conference teams. On Saturday, they will match up against Pacific at the Alex G. Spanos Center. The Gonzaga Bulldogs are 17-7 overall this season and mirror the same record in the conference with an 8-3 record against teams from the WCC. They are a half-game ahead of Santa Clara and a half-game behind San Francisco. They are also two games behind the conference-leading Saint Mary’s, who is 10-1 in conference.

Last weekend, they opened in February with a four-point loss on the road against the conference leader, Saint Mary’s. Graham Ike led the team with 24 points and eight rebounds in the loss, shooting 10-for-19 from the floor. Earlier this week, they came back home and beat Loyola Marymount by 20 points. Khalif Battle led the team with 24 points on 15-of-16 from the free-throw line.

The Pacific Tigers have fallen to just 8-18 on the season overall and have dropped to 3-9 against teams in the WCC. They are tied with Portland and just two games ahead of the 1-11 San Diego, who is the late-placed team in the conference. They are five games back from their opponent and 7.5 from the top of the WCC.

They opened February with a loss on the road as well, getting beat by 34 against Santa Clara. Elijah Fisher led the team with 14 points on 5-of-11 shooting. They went back home on Thursday and beat San Diego by just two points, led by a 19-point game-high performance from Lamar Washington, who shot 6-for-12 from the field.
