The 2025 All-Star Weekend for the Professional Bowling Association heads to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

This year’s All-Star Weekend in PBA Bowling is a clash of styles between one-handed bowlers and two-handed bowlers. The groups are divided up into groups of five based on their current standings in the PBA World Series of Bowling XVI. For the one-handers, EJ Tackett leads a group featuring Andrew Anderson, Graham Fach, Jakob Butturff and Kris Prather. They will be challenged by the two-handers that are led by Jason Belmonte along with Chris Va, Tim Foy Jr., Matt Ogle and Kyle Troup. Those two groups will bring the best of bowling to the fans this weekend in the 2025 All-Star Weekend.

The format for the All-Star matches are in the race-to-three Baker match. The Baker format is focused on team play. It is used in the PBA Elite Series, which features the best bowlers in the world grouped together into teams versus the traditional individual player format of PBA Bowling.

Each bowler will take two frames a piece with the anchor of the team bowling the fifth and 10th frames. If the match is tied through the first four games then each team will pick three bowlers to throw one single shot each with the highest score breaking the tie.

There will also be a Strike Derby where competitors will have two minutes to try and hit the most strikes. Like the homerun derby and dunk contest in other sports the Strike Derby brings the most exciting element of bowling to the forefront. Belmonte, Prather, Tackett, Ryan Barnes, Packy Hanrahan, Keven Williams, Tommy Jones, Boog Krol and Jesper Svensson were voted in by fans for the Strike Derby.
