The PBA Bowling Elite League has a brand new look this season with the teams heading into the Battle of the Brands.

The most exciting team league in professional bowling is back, with a twist. The Elite League: Battle of the Brands takes the top eight bowling ball manufacturers, 900 Global, Brunswick, DV8, Ebonite, Hammer, MOTIV, Roto Grip and Storm, building teams around them. Each roster is built with at least eight professional bowlers from the PBA. Several players switched teams this season after success last year, changing brands, teams and leaving behind friends to make the Battle of the Brands possible. The likes of Anthony Simonsen, Andrew Anderson, EJ Tackett, Jason Belmonte, Matt Ogle and others lead this season of the PBA Elite League in Battle of the Brands.

Brunswick, the biggest brand in the history of bowling, is led by Patrick Hanrahan along with Graham Fach, Jason Sterner, Dom Barrett, Nate Stubler, Tim Foy Jr., Andrew Hall, Gary Faulkner Jr. and Patrick Bohn III. The CEO of Brunswick Bowling Products Corey Dykstra will serve as team manager.

Team 900 Global is led by Anderson, who has five wins on the PBA Tour including one major win. Ogle leads Team DV8, Jake Peters leads Team Ebonite, Marshall Kent leads Team Hammer, Tackett leads Team MOTIV, Simonsen leads Team Roto Grip and Belmonte leads Team Storm.

This experiment with the Elite League adds new excitement, flare and energy to the biggest team league in professional bowling. It also gives the fans more than just players to root for, but also the brands that they use everyday in the lanes.
