The Austin Gamblers (15-4) enter the third and final day of PBR Camping World Team Series bull riding at the Honda Center in Anaheim with a one-game lead over the Florida Freedom (14-5) in the standings ahead of their head-to-head matchup on Sunday. The 10-team competition kicked off in July and continues into October ahead of the PBR Teams Championship in Las Vegas on Oct. 24-26. Florida’s tandem of Thiago Salgado and John Crimber — last year’s winner — lead the MVP race but the Gamblers’ duo of Dalton Kasel and Sage Steele Kimzey keeps churning out wins.

Next up is the Nashville Stampede (6-13) and the Missouri Thunder (8-11), followed by the much-anticipated Freedom-Gamblers showdown. The Texas Rattlers (12-7) face off with the Oklahoma Wildcatters (7-12) before the day’s finale pits the Arizona Ridge Riders (14-5) against the New York Mavericks (3-16).

Each team has five riders and the aggregate scores from each squad determines the winner. Jose Vitor Leme of Austin had the top ride of the day on Friday with an 89.75 score aboard Landman while Jess Lockwood of Carolina put up an 89.75 on Saturday riding Landman.

On Friday, Missouri beat New York, Florida topped Carolina, Texas got past Nashville, Austin outrode Oklahoma and Arizona bested Kansas City. Saturday saw Austin cruise past Kansas City, Carolina get the best of New York, Florida topping Oklahoma, Texas taking a narrow win from Missouri and Arizona beat Nashville.
