Woody Austin, who is in solo fifth at seven-under, appears to have the most on the line on Sunday. He arrived at Prestonwood in 73rd place on the points list, one spot below the cutoff for the first playoff event. Y.E. Yang and Matt Gogel are five shots off the lead at six-under, while Joe Durant, Chad Campbell, Steven Alker and Kirk Triplett are tied for eighth at five-under.

Campbell is another player who needs a big finish. He is currently 84th on the points list and a tie-eighth would only move him up to 75th. Arjun Atwal was in 72nd place entering the tournament, but hasn’t played since the PURE Insurance Championship in September.

The winner claims $315,000 of the tournament’s $2.1 million purse and the Schwab Cup points list is compiled by earnings. Playoff events, however, will award double points. The top 72 qualify for next weekend’s Dominion Energy Charity Classic, with the top 54 players moving onto the Simmons Bank Championship the following week. Only the top 36 head to Phoenix next month for the Charles Schwab Cup Championship.
