Sunday’s early Premier League kick-off pits Everton against Arsenal. Watch the game live and for free on Fubo today.

Arsenal is targeting its third straight Premier League win when it travels to Everton in Saturday’s early kick-off, with a chance to temporarily move without nine points of leader Liverpool. The Gunners are hoping to see the Merseysiders slip up in the event they can still muster a challenge on top spot, even if the destination of the title this term has seemed a foregone conclusion for some time. Everton, on the other hand, has experienced a bump under returning manager David Moyes, though the spectre of relegation has not fully subsided as the team sits 15th in the table.

The Toffees suffered just their second loss in 11 Premier League games since Moyes’ return following a 1-0 defeat in the Merseyside derby on Wednesday, where Diogo Jota delivered a devastating decider.

That ended a run of nine league outings without a loss and a run of four straight draws, with Everton really in need of turning some of those results into victories.

Bukayo Saka returned to action after three months out in dream fashion on Wednesday, coming off the bench to score what would be the eventual winner against Fulham:

Arsenal’s ‘Star Boy’ has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since before Christmas, but the team’s talisman took no time at all to underline his importance to the Gunners cause.

The result came with its downsides too, however, as key defender Gabriel suffered a hamstring injury that will rule him out for the remainder of the season.

Jurrien Timber was also forced off against the Cottager and leaves question marks over the right-back role with Ben White also uncertain, meaning Thomas Partey may fill out that position once again.

Goodison Park has been troubling territory for Arsenal in recent years, having won just one of its past six visits, while the Toffees managed a 0-0 draw in the reverse fixture back in December.

Regional restrictions may apply.
