Everton is hoping to end a lengthy winless run at home when it hosts Ipswich Town on Saturday. Watch the game live for free on Fubo today.

More than three months have passed since Everton last won a game at Goodison Park, but David Moyes’ men face good odds of ending that drought against an Ipswich Town team already relegated from the Premier League. Kieran McKenna’s men finally saw their fate sealed following a comprehensive defeat to Newcastle United last time out, with little more than honor left to fight for in their final four games as a top-flight team. The same is effectively true for the Toffees as they sit 15th in the table and with few prospects other than hoping to climb as close to mid-table as possible.

Ipswich saw its relegation to the Championship confirmed last weekend after losing 3-0 in the northeast, with all three promoted teams leaving the Premier League at the first opportunity.

Full-back Ben Johnson received a first-half red card to decimate any hopes of an Ipswich win at St. James’ Park, with the Englishman guilty of too very avoidable offenses:

The initial buzz caused by Moyes’ reinstatement as manager appears to have worn off for Everton following a run of just one win in its last nine games.

That being said, it’s worth noting the Merseysiders have faced a terribly tough run of late, with top-six regulars Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea each among their last five contests.

The club has managed an impressive 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest in that span, too, and a return of four points from the 15 on offer against recent company doesn’t actually look all that bad.

There won’t be any excuses for missing out against this Ipswich team, however, though a McKenna team with nothing left to lose could present a challenge in itself.
