A derby encounter between Manchester United and Manchester City brings the curtain down on the Premier League this weekend. Watch the game live and for free on Fubo today.

Manchester United will welcome bitter nemesis Manchester City to Old Trafford on Sunday targeting back-to-back wins in this fixture for the first time in more than five years. The Red Devils have taken a submissive stance against the arch-rivals over the past decade but have tilted the record in their favor of late after beating City to last season’s FA Cup and winning away at the Etihad Stadium in December. However, Ruben Amorim’s side once again find themselves in recovery mode after a midweek loss at Nottingham Forest, with a chance they could fall as far as 15th in the table this weekend.

City won 3-0 in its last trip to Old Trafford in October 2023, but the landscape has changed drastically in what’s been a nightmarish campaign by Pep Guardiola’s standards.

The Citizens make the short trip sat fifth in the table for the time being, hoping to end up among the top four and qualify for next term’s Champions League.

United turned back the clock by giving City a taste of its own medicine the last time these teams met at the Etihad in December, their first win at the Etihad in more than three years.

Amorim’s side trailed for almost an hour before Bruno Fernandes’ last-minute equalizer from the penalty spot, only for Amad Diallo to snatch all three points in the dying seconds:

Ivorian Amad is expected to be out until May due to injury, while a minor defensive crisis has left United somewhat light of options at the back of late.

That being said, both Leny Yoro and Harry Maguire were included in the squad for Tuesday’s loss at Forest, while Luke Shaw is also reportedly close to full fitness for the first time in six months.

Amorim has said Mason Mount is fit enough to start on Sunday, which is just as well considering Kobbie Mainoo will still be out of commission.

Meanwhile, this could be Kevin De Bruyne’s last-ever meeting with United after the Belgian confirmed he’ll leave City at the end of this season.
