Graham Potter’s tinkering is starting to yield results as West Ham chase a third straight win against Newcastle on Monday. Watch the game live and for free on Fubo today.

West Ham United hosts Newcastle United on Monday hoping to clinch three wins in a row for the first time this season and take a gigantic leap towards a top-half position in the Premier League. Graham Potter’s men recently followed up a surprise win away to Arsenal by beating Leicester City 2-0, and the east Londoners already boast one win over the Magpies after triumphing at St. James’ Park in November. And it just so happens Newcastle is looking to avoid losing three in a row for the first time this term, having recently exited the FA Cup at Brighton’s hands after losing in Liverpool.

The November win over Newcastle marked West Ham’s first victory in this rivalry since 2021, with the Magpies having flown into a more dominant stance in recent years.

But Potter has an opportunity to spearhead the revolution, even if it was predecessor Julen Lopetegui who was at the helm for the win at St. James’ Park four months ago.

Alexander Isak will return to the line-up against West Ham hoping to make a difference once more, having bagged five goals in only four appearances against the Hammers to date.

And the London Stadium has proved to be a prolific hunting ground for the Swede, who capitalized on Alphonse Areola’s error to net in his first-ever visit to the ground in April 2023:

And Eddie Howe will need his star striker on top form considering Anthony Gordon will be suspended for the trip to east London.

Newcastle will also be missing defenders Sven Botman, Kiera Trippier and Jamaal Lascelles, while left-back Lewis Hall is set to miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.

Lucas Paqueta is the most notable absence for West Ham, while Vladimir Coufal joins attackers Michael Antonio, Crysencio Summerville and Niclas Fullkrug on the sidelines.

Regional restrictions may apply.
