Knock on wood, Week 11 in the NFL has no postponed games due to COVID-19. It's already been a great week in terms of matchups. The Seahawks were able to hold off another last-minute drive by Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals to take the lead in the NFC West.
The great matchups won't stop there. The first matchup to look forward to this weekend is the Green Bay Packers visiting the Indianapolis Colts. These two teams are some of the league's best but both very often don't look like they are living up to their own potential. For example, the Colts lost to the 1-8 Jacksonville Jaguars to open the season. The Packers struggled against the Jaguars last week without starting QB Gardner Minshew dealing with a thumb injury. Backup Jake Luton had a chance to win the game on the last drive of the game. At Lambeau Field noless. If Luton plays well these week against the Steelers, he has a chance at the starting job.
Okay enough about a team who only has one win. The Colts looked incredibly impressive stomping the Titans on Thursday Night Football last week. This defense is coming up clutch and Philip Rivers seems like he is finally starting to gel with his new team. If he can avoid turnovers like he did against the Titans, they have a great shot of taking a firm hold on the AFC South.
The Packers still have a good record at 7-2 but they looked vulnerable the last few weeks in games against the Jaguars and the Minnesota Vikings who are not great and won handedly. The Packers are slight favorites in this one but could easily stumble against the Colts. Either way this should be one of the best matchups of the week.
