The expansion Indy Ignite face the Atlanta Vibe for the first time when they visit Gas South Arena on Sunday.

The Indy Ignite (5-4) are off to a solid start, as the Pro Volleyball Federation’s lone expansion entry for the 2025 season is in fourth place in the early going. On Sunday, the Ignite visit the Atlanta Vibe (5-5) at Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia. It’s the first-ever meeting between the teams, with Indy coming in with a 1-3 record on the road and the Vibe just 2-3 at home. Atlanta won the regular-season title in the PVF’s inaugural season in 2024 before it was knocked off by the Grand Rapids Rise in the semifinals.

The Vibe snapped a three-match losing streak with a 3-1 (21-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-19) road victory over the Rise on Thursday night. Leah Edmond powered the attack with 17 kills and also served up four aces while Taya Beller had 10 kills. Marlie Monserez finished with 52 assists and 20 digs.

The Ignite also won on Thursday night, stopping the visiting San Diego Mojo 3-1 (25-21, 25-14, 18-25, 25-15). Azhani Tealer and Nina Čajić put down 16 kills each, with Tealer adding four blocks and a pair of aces. Sydney Hilley contributed 47 assists, 20 digs and a pair of blocks and libero Kylie Murr had 18 digs.

Indy is second in the PVF with a 37.5% kill percentage while Atlanta is fourth at 36.6%. Khori Louis of the Vibe has the top kill percentage in the league at 51.3%, Edmond shares the league lead with 21 aces and Morgan Hentz tops the PVF with 184 digs. For the Ignite, Hilley leads the league with 414 assists, with Tealer fourth in kill percentage at 44.5% and second with 28 blocks. Leketer Member-Meneh is second in the PVF, registering 156 kills, and Murr is fourth with 124 digs.
