This year the Pro Volleyball Federation makes history with the inaugural All-Star Match for the league. The inaugural All-Star Match will take place in Indianapolis, Indiana and the Fishers Event Center. In just its second season the PFV continues to grow, highlighted by the best professional volleyball players in the world coming together in this showcase event. The rosters for the inaugural All-Star rosters were built with input from the fans, coaches and league officials. Last season’s MVP and Outside Hitter of the Year Leah Edmond of the Atlanta Vibe and the postseason MVP Sydney Hilley of the local Indy Ignite headline the All-Star rosters.

The format for this match is similar, but different than a traditional volleyball match decided by three or five sets. This event will be a three-set match, but the winner is not determined by winning sets. The winner will be decided by total points across the three sets.

Each of the eight teams in the PVF are represented with at least one player in this year’s All-Star Match spreading the love across the rosters. The Vegas Thrill lead the way with five All-Stars while Atlanta, Indy and the Orlando Valkyries each have four representatives on the All-Star rosters.

Georgia Tech’s Michelle Collier and Purdue’s Dave Shondell will serve as head coaches for the inaugural All-Star Match bringing two of the best coaches in the country to the sideline. This historic event is a showcase for the PVF and women’s volleyball across the board.
