The big boys take center stage on Thursday night at Universal Studios Orlando for the first round of competition in the Professional Fighters League World Tournament, with light heavyweights and heavyweights on the card. Four fights are on the main card with five more on the preliminary schedule, headlined by light heavyweights Phil Davis (24-7) and Rob Wilkinson (19-3). Davis hasn’t fought since losing a split decision to Corey Anderson at Bellator 297 in Chicago in June 2023. Wilkinson lost via unanimous decision to Dovlet Yaghimuradov at PFL 8 in the 2024 playoffs in Hollywood, Florida, on Aug. 16, 2024.

The co-main event features heavyweights Valentin Moldavsky (13-4) and Sergey Bilostenniy (13-3). Moldavsky lost a split decision to Linton Vassell at PFL 4 in Uncasville, Connecticut, on June 13 while Bilostenniy has won his last three bouts, including a heel hook stoppage of Tyrell Fortune two minutes into the first round at PFL 7 in Nashville on Aug. 2.

Light heavyweights Antônio Carlos Jr. (16-6) and Karl Moore (12-3) square off ahead of the two headline bouts. Carlos lost a unanimous decision to Alex Polizzi at PFL 5 in Salt Lake City on June 21 while Moore’s last bout was a unanimous decision loss to Corey Anderson in the Bellator Champions Series in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on March 22, 2024.

The main card opens with a light heavyweight battle between Karl Albrektsson (14-6) and Simeon Powell (10-1). Albrektsson lost the Superior Challenge title to Chuck Campbell in Stockholm, Sweden, on Nov. 30, when he was stopped by punches 3:13 into the second round. Powell bounced back from his first loss with a split-decision victory over Rafael Xavier at the Bellator Champions Series in London on Sept. 14.
