The New York Sirens are in the spoiler role as they visit the Minnesota Frost on Sunday afternoon

The New York Sirens (11-12-4, 33 points) on Saturday became the first team in the Professional Women’s Hockey League eliminated from playoff contention after both the Ottawa Charge and Boston Fleet picked up regulation victories. On Sunday, the Sirens take on the role of spoiler as they visit the Minnesota Frost (13-10-4, 38 points) at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Frost are four points behind the Charge for the fourth and final playoff spot with three games remaining on their schedule. The defending Walter Cup champions stopped a three-game losing streak just before the international break and play their final home game on Sunday before visiting Ottawa and the Fleet to close the season.
