The stepladder finals of the 2025 PWBA Bowling USBC Queens tournament is set. Josie Barnes and the final five remaining bowlers all look to win one of the most prestigious events in professional bowling history. The USBC Queens is the third-longest running event in PWBA Bowling history. It started in 1961, one year after the creation of the first women’s professional bowling league. To this day it is one of the three core major events on the calendar. This year’s final five led by Barnes, who comes out of the winners bracket as the top player in the field, also includes Hazirah Ramli, Li Jane Sin, Valerie Bercier and Clara Guerrero ranked in that order.

Guerrero starts off the stepladder as the fifth-ranked player taking on fourth-ranked Bercier. From there, the winner takes on third-ranked Sin, second-ranked Ramli and then Barnes who is at the top of the ladder.

Barnes entered the tournament as the 13th overall seed out of 64 total qualifying bowlers. She averaged 673.83 per game with a top score of 712 that came in the third round to get to the top of the stepladder. She pulled off her biggest win in that third round match, defeating fourth-seeded Natasha Roslan 712-632.

The rest of the stepladder also performed well in the winners bracket. Ramli made it to the finals against Barnes after defeating Guerrero. As for Sin and Bercier, they were both eliminated in the second round of the winners bracket.
