This tournament has already been a wild ride after hours of weather delays pushed everything back. The Gators did not finish playing last night until 10:30 p.m. and they were able to pull off the victory in extra innings with an exciting finish. Despite a perfect throw to home as Florida’s final runner rounded third, South Carolina’s catcher dropped the ball on the tag resulting in Florida’s victory.

While the team finished late last night, luckily, with the weather delays, today’s game was pushed back to 5:30 p.m., allowing for some rest before taking on the No. 3 nationally-ranked Aggies.

The Aggies are coming into today’s game after a series win over Ole Miss this past weekend. The team picked up a 10-5 win in game one and a 12-5 victory in game three to improve its overall record to 35-17 and its conference record to 19-11.

With Florida flying high after an exciting win last night, the momentum the team carries into today can make or break the game. With upsets already happening so far, the possibility of Texas A&M being sent to the loser’s bracket can’t be counted out.

Regional restrictions may apply.
