A west London derby sees Brentford host Fulham on Saturday in a battle between two Premier League teams battling for little else other than pride with only a few games left to go in the campaign. With just three matches left to play this term, the Bees in 16th now know they are mathematically safe from relegation, while the Cottagers sit 13th and face a late fight to finish in the top half of the table. The last two derby duels between these two teams have each gone in favor of Thomas Frank’s men, but a change in the winds this season could provide Fulham the opening it needs to restore some balance.

A return to some consistency has seen Brentford just about saved from the threat of relegation with very little time to spare, with the club impressing particularly at home of late.
An impressive run of results against Chelsea, Manchester United, Brighton and Sheffield United has lifted the Bees away from immediate danger, albeit losing 1-0 at Everton last time out.

The Cottagers boast just one win from their last six, which just so happened to be on the road to another London derby rival in West Ham last month.
It was all the way back in August that Brentford wheeled away from Craven Cottage as 3-0 victor thanks to Bryan Mbeumo’s second-half brace.
The Cameroon international is back fit following a length stint on the sidelines and will be hoping to have another big impact here, as will Yoane Wissa, Brentford’s other scorer that day.
