Riding three-game unbeaten streak, Pacific aims to keep playoff homes alive as it heads east to face Atlético Ottawa

Over the weekend three of the four playoff spots in the Canadian Premier League have been claimed putting Pacific FC in a bind as it comes into tonights match at Atlético Ottawa nine points behind the fourth and final playoff spot with five matches to play. Pacific’s dreadful summer evaporated what was a solid start for the Tridents who won three of its first four matches, but as the leaves turned so did the prospects of a return to the post season as Pacific has seven points from its last three matches. Atlético Ottawa is unbeaten in its last five contests earning three draws in its last four matches and is six points behind four-time league champion Forge FC for the top spot and home field advantage throughout the postseason.
