    Unbeaten in six consecutive matches, Cavalry FC hits the road in search of its first away victory since May 10 as they take on HFX Wanderers FC looking to break their tie for second in the Canadian Premier League standings in a Saturday matinee. HFX have lost three of their last five matches having tallied just five goals in that span including a 3-0 home loss to Cavalry in their last meeting, the lone home loss for the Wanderers this season. Cavs away win back in may was the first home loss for HFX in 355 days, a run of 14-consecutive matches without a defeat, the longest stretch in club history.

    Cavalry FC features a pair of prolific goal scorers in forwards Tobias Warschewski and Ali Musse who have combined to tally nine goals thus far on the 2025 campaign ranking fourth and fifth respectively in the CPL in scoring. Warschewski, who ranks third in the CPL in assists, is in his second season in Calgary having tallied 15 goals across all competitions for Cavalry FC last season and has 28 career goals in four CPL seasons playing his first two years in Edmonton.

    Wanderers goalkeeper Rayane Yesli ranks second in the CPL with four clean sheets and has posted 32 saves across the first 10 matches, also second best in the league.

    Cavalry has dominated this series collecting points in 20 of 23 all-time matches including 14 of the last 16 overall. Two of the three HFX victories have come at Wanderers Grounds with Cavs holding a narrow 7-6 scoring advantage in the last five fixtures in Nova Scotia.
